I'm taking a break.

Dear Readers:

I love writing this Substack. It’s a joy, and I plan on doing it for many moons. However, my Tupac book is due three months from tomorrow and my brain is starting to melt.

Hence, I’m writing to say that I’m taking a (not coincidentally) three-month break to put the words together and survive without slamming my head into a wall.

I promise–I will return with regular posts come September. But mental health is important, and with deadline looming my brain feels particularly fried and roasted.
